I just wanted to introduce myself to the BCB family. Ive “trolled” these boards, along with fishing message boards in general, for the better part of a decade. Some of you I know close; others Ive had the pleasure of meeting throughout my 25 years in the Bass Cat Family. My name is Ryder Pierce. Yes, Rick is my father. He has 3 sons. Two with a passion for boats, fishing, and anything remotely close. The middle son is successful in his own ventures and his priorities always drifted towards his studies.Ive worked numerous departments at the plant: Gel-Coat & Night Shift in High School, Warehouse, Parts, Counted how many #8 1/2 Pan Heads go in a Puma FTD, and finished my tenure in Purchasing as a temporary hire straight out of college. I was raised on the road at boat shows, top-150s, and was an ornery at best at Owners Invitationals. Freshly sprayed resin smells like home and Ive gotten so used to fiberglass I could sleep in it. Those guys out at the factory watched me grow up. Im confident they will tell you the BCB family is as real as it gets.I approached Dad when I wanted to be a little more active in the community on here a couple years ago and he told me go for it, just be conscious. Ive pondered introducing myself and providing insight numerous times. Its rarely needed. The few that monitor this at BCB are fast. The family members on here…even faster! I figured as much as I “squat” on this board it cant hurt. I moved to Lufkin, TX last year to pursue my own career. This was much at the encouragement of Dad. 20 minutes from Rayburn & 45 from Toledo, not to mention numerous quality lakes Ive never fished? Its the closest thing to heaven down here Ill see on this earth! Ive probably spent 75 days on Rayburn alone since Ive been here. P.A. and Mark Thompson constantly re-assure me things have been off this year. Im probably 6 months to a year away from buying my first boat.Anyways, enough of that. I look forward to talking a little on here.Ryder PierceLast edited by RayburnRed on March 20th, 2014, 2:59 am, edited 1 time in total.
