2011 PumaFTD speedometer

The speedometer on my PumaFTD quit working. Its not plugged. Is it tied in with my Hummingbird 1198? It did work fine. Have I accidently switched someting off? Thanks inadvance for the input.

Possibly, there is a NMEA output in the menus on the 1197 and you have to turn that output on. If it got depowered or a dead battery it may have defaulted to no output. BCB

Does anyone know how to find NMEA output in a 1198?

It is in the menus and settings. Scroll through then screens on your setting options and it will be there. Go up instead of down as it is not on the top of the menu.
