This was just posted on Boat Test. My friend is a Ranger /Stratos dealer in Tenn. They have stopped building boats in Tn and are moving the operation to Flippin. This is to help control cost since the overall buisness is down in both facilities. Looks like Champion is going to be sold back to Jacobs. He wants it for the bay boats.

Good for the folks in Arkansas, and not so good for the ones left behind in Tn.,Mi,. , etc,,,, so goes the process in corporate America, but once again proves the quality of workmanship of the north Arkansas workforce in the bass boat industry. Arkansas has always been the leader in manufacturing bass boats, and fortunately this move bodes well for our area. I just sincerely hope this economy improves this season, and the entire workforce is returned to full time “employed” status soon.May God Bless all those effected by all this, and keep them working on the products we enjoy so much.

I will wait to Guess on what happens to Champion, I personally could care less, unless BCB goes and gets the Champ molds for like $200,000 or so, then Whopeee, if not, who cares……with BCBs forward thinking, Jaguar, New Eyra and whatever else comes in the future I feel that Us BCB folks have the Best Built boat in the business, most advanced hull design, Insane build quality, and Impecable fit n finish, oh yeah, and Rough water ride, and SPEED, Like the Ole Champ guys say, Ride n Decide brother……BCB im really excited for the future and cannot wait on the New 18footer and others in the coming years, how bout a Legitimate 70mph 18 with up to a 200 if folks really want that….BrannonYour Signature …

The bottom line is these companies are struggling and trying to survive while Bass Cat continues to expand their lineup. BCB has a firm grasp on what the market wants and how to deliver it.
