Guntersville guide

Never been there and dont know any guides reputations, but I used to enjoy seeing the pictures and reading Alex Davis reports on the bassfishinghomepage. http://www.spinnerbaitkid.com/I believe Alex is now fishing the FLW Tour among other tournaments and he says his guide dates are pretty full so it may be difficult to get him on short notice. There are plenty of guys on here that fish Guntersville so Im sure you will get more recommendations soon. I dont have a dog in this fight but can give you a great perspective from a local. Forget hiring a guide Ill take you out for 1million dollars:) Seriously I would say for the money take Troy Jenns he has been guiding longer then any other guide out there he is a true OG” thats not gangster but Original Guide. Troy has a unique personality, great fisherman, and a great man. Tim chandler is a good guide and in my opinion in his hay day the best tournament fishing guide on the lake. He is a big stick on the lake but due to other obligations with family he doesnt tournament fish as much these years. If you decide to come down and fish feel free to IM me and I will help out to the best of my ability. I can also recommend good places to stay, eat, or shop for tackle. Good Luck
