Man I just got the shaft big time from Kevin Oaks selling his 97 Panterra II.After agreeing on a price with me on Wednesday me taking off of work to go to the bank ,getting the money ,talkling /e-mailing back and forth with him all week long,me scheduling Monday off of work to go pick the boat up he calls me back this morning with the news that he sold the boat to his father in law this morning.I am sick and really ticked off.I had the mans word and he backed out on me at the last minute.Thats B.S.Anyway I have lost sleep the last couple nights with the anticipation of joining the cat family and still intend to do so.If you have a good cat with low hours in the 10000 to 15000 I am ready to buy .Please let me know.

Real funny. This information is incorrect. I told you that if someone showed up with the money in hand, then i couldnt turn it down. I had several people tell me the same thing as you, let me talk to the bank blah blah blah. Ive got burnt on more than one occasion with this boat. I could not take the risk of getting burnt again. Nothing personal, just business. I dont appreciate you calling me out for everyone to see. Because the truth is, I did nothing wrong.

Sorry I offended you Kevin.But I am a bit offended myself.You are correct you did tell me that you would have a hard time turning down someone with cash in hand.But when we talked yesterday morning and again last night and I told you I had the cash in an envelope with your name on it and that i was driving up there Sunday to get the boat I guess you never had any idea that your father in law would suddenly want to buy the boat this morning . The whole time me and my wife were working all this crap out with the bank.You could have easily told me the situation and I would have completely understood instead of letting me go through all the crap I did.All week long you wanted to know how serious I was so you wouldnt schedule “someone else ” to look at the boat .I repeatadly told you that i was definiteley buying the boat .My word was good man. I understand you got burned before buy dead beat buyers on this boat,well now I feel like Ive been burned.Sorry if you think I called you out ,and if you feel like you didnt do nothing wrong we view things just a little differantly where I come from.

Father in law or unsolicited buyer, a sale is a sale and while we dont want to involve ourselves in the particulars, cash talks. We hope you find another rig that suits your needs.

Dolden check out panterra II in southern ill. do not know the guy, but have seen pics in local store of it. looks good from what i can tell. it is some were close to me if interested i could go look at it for you…… just trying to help a fellow cat man out Greg

Thanks scuba Ill check it out.I am commited to getting a cat.Ive been in just about every bass boat at some point in the club,and the cats have always been the best.Again thanks for the help .BCB you are right cash is cash no matter who brings it and I now have it in hand.I will now let it rest on the other deal I was just so close.

Sorry to see your deal fell through. I saw from your profile that you are listed as Franklin, TN. If you havent already, you might want to check with Riverside Marine in Old Hickory. They have at least one used Classic and a Sabre within your price range.
