My wife ordered two shirts Monday morning. 1 for me and 1 for my daughter who is fishing her first youth tournament this weekend and was excited to wear a Bass Cat shirt for the tournament.I have tons of fishing gear and didnt really need a new shirt but ordered one so that we would sort of match.Well the order came in today and my shirt was sent. Hers was not. They said it was out of stock and just canceled that part of the order. No email, no phone call to ask if we would like to substitute…. nothing except “out of stock” on the order. So now my little girl is disappointed because her shirt didnt come. Ive placed several orders from the store in the past and never had an issue. Ive even had them call or email my wife to double check a serial number on my old boat to make sure they sent the proper seat covers. I really hope this is not the result of the Correct Craft merger. 1st time Ive ever been disappointed with ANYTHING associated with Bass Cat.
Rather surprised to hear this. Ms. Dory is very conscientious regarding orders for young people, at least she was when I placed a order for my Great Nephew!
Im surprised too. It was showing “In stock” online so I would have expected a courtesy email if that wasnt the case.Im not one to gripe… had it been my shirt… no big deal. But my daughters shirt was the whole reason for the order.
The company is still functioned by Rick and the operations are the same as they were. The Correct Craft merger was 3 1/2 years ago and nothing internally has changed to alter this. Actually Correct Craft as Nautique is also a JD Power award winning company way back. They also are passionate about doing things right. We understand your dissatisfaction over the shirt not being in stock. Though gosh, give them a call, do something to give them an opportunity to explain. We don’t know the situation in our position though we will forward it to Clothing and the department manager over Parts and Clothing. They don’t keep a lot of smaller shirts for youth as they don’t sell frequently. The springs run of youth and high school fishing championships has definitely changed the needs and we’ve had several even tour here as late as this week. Thank you,BCB
My wife should be sending an email or calling today as she was the one who placed the order. Again, I know this is not the norm for BCB and Im sure there is some explanation. My only gripe is to maybe notify someone ahead of time so that maybe a replacement could have been found or something.
just an update, Mrs. Dorry as already emailed my wife about the situation. Now THAT is the BCB customer service I know and love!

This was probably not the best place to bring it up.Glad to see BCB is still committed to customer service. We all make mistakes and all we can do is whatever it takes to make it right which BCB did!!!! Thanks again.
Ive been busy and havent had a chance to give an update. My daughter got her box from bass cat and she was very excited. Mrs. Dorry hooked her up… different shirt, a hat, keychain, and a rubber ducky with its own hat and shirt. Thanks BCB!!!you more than made up for the oversight! Well Done.By the way she finished 4th in her age goup! Had two keepers for 4.61 and probably caught 8-9 bass… 13 inch keepers at Felsenthal are hard to come by right now… but she did awesome!She called my tournament partner on the way home and told him he was fired, she was fishing with daddy from now on! LOL
I just love a happy ending !!
