Water Temp Gauge?

I need a water temperature gauge at console. Have an 05 Puma with Lowrance X25 and smart craft gauges and in dash flasher. There is not external temperature probe on transom. The flasher will show water temp but it is not accurate, I think it is reading from transducer in bilge. Do I need to add a gauge and sensor or can a sensor be tied into the smart craft system that I know very little about. Going to BPS early tomorrow morning hand hope to get what I need there.Thanks

Get an external sensor for one of the units.

Thanks Phil. I just looked under dash at the rear of X25. It has one connector open the “ether/audio” port. I would guess that it does not connect there, then again it might, I dont know. I will ask sales person BPS and read instructions with sensor to find out how to connect.
