Jack plate help

Anyone know if all Detwiler, Slidemaster, and Atlas plates come with 6 bolt pattern? Or are the plates for sale on BCB website built specifically for BCB?? In need of a new plate and have had several offers but cant confirm they are 6 bolt. Thanks

They are a custom build (6 bolt) though they are also available from those companies and not only BCB.

Would it be safe to drill or cut the extra holes in an 8″ hydraulic Detwiler? I picked one up to replace my old 6″ Detwiler and realized it was the 4 bolt pattern. Any affect on my hull warranty?
