Adding 2nd front pedestal base to 1994 PII

Looking for more leg room up front. Is it possible to mount another 3/4″ pin pedestal on storage compartment lid? Would a support brace to hull be needed too?

I would think you would definitely need to figure out a way to reinforce that additional base, the lid wont be enough in my opinion…over the long haul anyway. Good luck, maybe BCB has an idea they have seen before. Judd Lasiter

On a 94 P2 there should be more than enough room as is. There is no recess on that deck and unless your pedal is too far back, it is fine as is for most. The lid is glass, though we can not comment on the install there. BCB

Well, my reasoning was two fold. I crappie fish mostly and would rather sit a little further back, and the existing base has broke (under deck) in weld area. One way or another I will have to install a new base plate, just figured Id ask first. Dont know how the original base was broke, previous owner pointed it out to me. Suppose Ill be calling for a replacement, do you know the part number? Thanks for the help.

We will provide the parts at no charge for that seat base assembly. That was an issue on some of early 90s series. We will not provide labor for the install. Any parts you request for the other assembly addition will be on you. BCB

Thats why Basscat people own Basscats. They are the best bass boat out there. Proud Pantera owner for 14yrs.
