After 3 months of fiberglass work and a week at the dealer where they replaced the seastar hydraulic steering at the motor, a new tilt/trim motor, New pro-trim steering wheel switch, and new ignition switch, I brought my baby home. I cannot wait to get her out and start fishing. I replaced all 4 clearance lights with LED ones ordered through parts. If I can make one suggestion, the yellow clearance lights need to come with much longer wires, as neither of them were long enough to reach where they connect. I had to splice new wire to it in order for them to reach. So might I recommend that you please provide a heads up on that? I am no electrician and I hope I got my splice waterproofed. The red rear clearance were an easy swap. Only thing I really have left is to replace the A-10 panel which is broke and replace the courtesy light and accessory plug since they do not work. Then, I have to have the drivers and center seat reapolsyeted this winter since for what ever reason, the color of material basscat has for my boat serial number are no where close in matching the existing color. The color they sent twice was way too light so I had to pay to have the seat back done since the seat bottom was covered by insurance and the mis-match was very noticeable. Even the red stripes were off big time. I expected some variance from Sun exposure, like the new being darker, but the new was several shades lighter instead. I cannot say it is a parts issue or not as being the third owner, one of the two previous could have had them redone at some point without getting the material from parts. All I know is it is a pain… Anyway, she looks good, dont you think? Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
