I sold the sabre friday. I broke some teeth on a gear in the lower unit while on darbonne. So now I get to go boat shopping. I did not know that it sucked this bad not to have a boat. My wife said that I have been pissy since Friday. Hopefully I can get my attitude adjustment sooner than later.
I hear you. I have had a boat of some sort since I was 13. I remember when my wife and I bought our first house and the boat had to go (seemed like the longest 8 months of my life being boatless). Now we just add to the fleet so that will never happen again. It is exciting though, picking out the replacement. John
I bought my first bass boat when i was a lance corporal in the Marines. I had just graduated from an advanced infantry school that took three months to graduate, so i had three months of pay saved up to spend. I did not drink for a hobby like a lot of my friends, so I started boat hunting. During my hunt for a boat i found a guy that was getting divorced and wanted nothing more than to piss his wife off. He sold me the boat for what i had in my bank account. I fished out of that boat for 5 years before getting my sabre. This will be the first boat that has a note attached to it so i am going to buy the boat that i want.
Over my life, I have spent a heck of a lot of money on boats, motors, trailers, accesories, and fishing equipment. The rest of my money I just wasted!Corky
