Help with Humminbird Helix 9

My new boat came with a Helix 9 SI on the dash and a Helix 9 DI at the bow. The one on the dash seems ok but Im having issues with the one at the bow. First, the down imaging doesnt work- I just have a blank screen. Second, the sonar usually shows double the actual depth, mostly when Im in 20 or less depth. Im hoping I am just doing something wrong. Any suggestions??

Sometimes there can be a rebound effect especially when you get over granite or rose stone.Check out bbc board under huminbird for set up tips. A lot to read and watch but worth it to get the most out of the great electronic tools.Changing the water type to salt water helps as does checking that the front and back are on different frequencies.
