Help with net in Puma FTD

The net i have currently is a very large basket ring, i am thinking that it will not fit in the designated storage. Does anyone know what a good net that will fit is (brand)? I had bought the big net back when i used to catch big uns, now i need to buy a little one!

Thats funny, normally i boat flip. That was why i had a big net, hard to boat flip nines. Regardless i need a net even though i have not seen a nine since falcon.

Thennet scabbard is set for 69″ handles OA and a 20″ hoop. The triangle shaped hoops will fit in some shapes. Speed and efficiency are important when netting fish. Large bulky nets are often used to lead fish in, which is not the preferred method. all my fish want to get in the net and the boat. Why else would they bite my bait? But seriously, with the fold away net, why have a fold away with the handle retractable also. you said the handle can be up to 69″. Do you retract the handle and fold the net to put it in the net storage? do you think the promar net (that i posted) will work?Last edited by drharvey on November 16th, 2011, 3:14 am, edited 1 time in total.

thinking about it further. i definetly want the longest handle i can manage to store effeciently. i crank alot, and a long handle helps in the thick pads and grass as well.

Check out http://www.egos2slider.com I use the Ego S2 Reach Large-Deep Rubber Mesh 48″ closed extends to 108″ it fits in my Puma. Its a nice net and most the co-angler that fished with me this year has gotten one after using mine.

X2 on the egoslider. That is what I got and it just fits in there. It has a very long reach extended. Not sure you can find something better then that. I did Gorilla glue the hoop onto the handle though. It can come loose if you dont.
