Just got back from that Fishers of Men tournament on Dardanelle. I believe around 35# won it for 2 days and about 16 got a check. Most of top finishers caught them on traps in the grass. Some of our guys caught them on finesse jigs and chatter baits shallow and on squarebills around laydowns and stumps. Shoal and Delaware Bay were good producers. My partner and I were catching some good chunks around 2-2.5lbs on the far upper end of the river on the jetties, but needed either wind and or current and got a whole lot of neither one come tourny time. Also the area between the state park and the lower lock on the rocks in the main river some good fish were caught. Check out the river levels and amount of flow. Bryan P4.
