Gary ; How about a fishing report on the lake. With the forecast for Sunday it will be perfect medicine for cabin fever. How is the jerk bait bite, and the wiggle wart bite. Will probably head to the dam area on Sunday. Thanks for nay info. John

Been there, they have not had a LOZ report in almost 2 weeks and then it was a generic winter time report. I was looking for a little more first had info if possible.

Jhva I live at the 4 mm Fishing been good near the dam to the 7mm more so on the north shore been catching good quality keepers,bites been best late morning . Try all your favorite jerk baits. Let your bait pause a bit 10 to 12 seconds with light jerks, they havent been very active. Jigs been worth throwing on your favorite spots . I havent had a bite on a running bait for sometime. Water level is starting to drop and they should be starting to stack up near the points and secondary points. Im fishing a Burgundy Cougar with a 250 Yamaha and will be out Sunday give me a Big Wave if you see me . Also be ready for a windy day on Sunday

Warmer weather this weekend, throw all previous reports out the window, and adjust for temperatures, conditions, sun, clouds, wind or rain that occurs. BCB

John,Phil has given you a good update. The dam area is probably the best area right now. I went out a little this morning (31MM in Linn Creek). Our water has gotten dingy and temps were 40-42 degrees. I threw a jerkbait for about 1.5 hours and never had a bite. The wind was 10-20 from the Southwest. Tomorrow, it will be even warmer, and the wind will blow. If I wasnt 32 miles upstream, I would definitely fish the dam area… Good Luck, Gary Hollander p.s. I have not thrown any crankbaits lately, as I am trying to “perfect” my jerkbait techniques.
