Goggles

Back in the early 1980s I took my Scott dirt bike goggles and rock guard and put them in my boat for cold mornings. It got some odd stares in freezing temps at Winter Bass-O-Thons. Then I just kept using them in Redman and eventually BASS events. I replaced several over a 15-20 year span. Today you cant even buy Scott goggles with tab holes for a rock guard, let alone todays youth knowing what one was. Full face helmets were new then and new $150 a pop for most till recent decades. That was when rigs were $25k. Im a big safety fanatic. On my job, at my house , on the water, or wat ever. Ive worked in steel shops my hole careerie. So to say the least Ive always used safety glasses. And in the last 7 or 8 yrs just glasses for my eyesight. Ive heard storys or foreign bodies in eyes of boaters my whole fishing career. One of the worst was a hornet and and the sting leading to the loss of a eye. The save phase are nice and are low susceptible to fog. A little funny looking and a little pricey. But when it comes to your eyes we only have 2.
