I finally got my Eyra home and took some pics per request from previous posts. I have yet to get on the water but will do so later today and early tomorrow.A follow up to Ricks performance post running light but somewhat balanced with full livewells in 85° temps, 72.3 mph on the GPS with a 200HP VmaxSHO. Motor Height Measurements: VMAX 200SHO measuring center prop shaft to the ground and measuring center of the bottom pad (I could be wrong) to ground I measured Ricks motor height run at at 5″ below pad. Motor and boat were level before measurements. I raised the motor by 1/2″ (Scott Brech) above level Jack Plates and just measured center prop shaft at 10.25″ from ground and measured the center of the bottom pad at 14.75″ to the ground. Ill go out test out speeds with new motor height at 4.5″ below pad and adjust raising at 1/4″ intervals from there and see what I come up with. From what I have been told Yamahas like to high on the plates. Ill find out.Now for the pics.My EyraTop Deck with my 711″ KVD Crankbait Rod. Wanted to display the deck lenght size with a very long rod. Lots of real estate. EZ Tug to the Rescue. Not much room on each side of my boat but it does fit safely with help of my motorized jack. Bama96, yep and I am a candy azz and need all the help I can get. To my pleasant surprise my boat fits in my garage and I dont need to use my swing away tongue. Yessss….. EZ in EZ out. Thanks EZ Tug!Someone wanted to see a top view pic with lids open. Here you go. The only lids not open are livewell lids and step box cooler. Monster Dash 1197:There was a question regarding steering wheel interference with my 1197. From my initial view There is very little to no interference in my opinion with selected steering wheel tilt positions. In middle setting steering wheel setup there is very minor screen interference. With full wheel tilted up it does cover a good bit of the screen but it is negotiable. To me I am very satisfied with my screen setup. When I want to idle to locate structure with Side Imaging Ill lower my steering wheel in bottom position with very minor screen interference. The only negotiable screen coverage is with the bottom screen numbers but its very MINOR. Screen views may be altered or different for some. I am 6 1/2″ tall so be advised. I am happy with the setup with lots of screen real estate.Side view of my console below.Ill let you know my findings going forward. For SHO I am “Feeling the Rush”.Last edited by Flyswatter on June 30th, 2010, 6:24 pm, edited 4 times in total.

Tom…that is one awesome looking rig!!! I am jealous! Im anxious to see it at SEBCOG…if not before if Brechs has some kind of thing later on this summer. Tell Scott to make it soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom,Totally awesome boat! Kind of a baby Jag with all the stuff it comes with. Love the way the back compartment totally opens up for access, would think it should show up on all BCs.I noticed that my SHOs WPSI dropped from 15 to about 12 after the recall. Let me know what yours is running. My P/P started out 5 below but so far Ive only raised mine 1/4″.Last edited by kramr on June 30th, 2010, 11:57 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Everyone, Thanks for the nice comments. Here I am sitting tired and hungry exacerbated by the raw excitement after todays follies preparing my boat… Moving forward I have spent most of the day cleaning and wet vacuuming my baptized boat driving home in a rain storm from Brech Marine in Selma, Alabama yesterday. Its sea worthy for sure now. Tomorrow come hell or high water I will find a place in Alabama to put my boat hopefully where the rain drops are not (ON THE WATER). More pictures will be coming tomorrow showing my tackle storage boxes in Ricks tackle organizer (stainless steel) stringer system in the front deck boxes. The net scabbard is really cool too. I like it better then my PIV. I know its my opinion and recognized I am biased since I have it. Ill let you all start your evaluations when I post these pics per your potential future boating endeavors. For sure its not a step backward per Ricks fishing and boat building experiences. We BassCat owners know all too well the value of having experienced fisherman designing and building bass boats. Getting back to the stainless steel tackle stringer system. Ricks design offers fisherman the flexibility for user specific options to fit odd size width and length tackle boxes efficiently in a bassboat. To be continued with pics.Community suggestions: What do all you store under the seats in your boats? I have not had a boat with storage under a seat before. Thanks,Flyswatter
