Well, I finally got a Hi-five prop (went with a 25 pitch after much consideration) for fishing and pulling tubes, but I have never had to deal with vent holes before. Running a PIV with a Rude 200 ho. Want to prepare myself in case I have to mess with the “holes”. Came with what appears to be the large vent holes in all five. Best guess if I most likely will have to plug some of them. I hope not because I do not want to mess with the suckers, but I want to be prepared. Thanks for the help.-Joe.

You wont have to mess with the holes usually on that wheel.

Joe P, do you know if you need a blow out ring (weed guard)?When I switched over to a trophy on my Etec it kept blowing out.Not sure if they are the same or not.

Thanks BC for the quick reply, I will run as is and see how it goes. dblplasabre, I have no clue if I need a blow-out ring. Bought prop from a local boat dealer and the only thing he said I needed was the rude hub kit. If I do I will find out next week.-Joe

No weed ring on a 25 as it is a large tube prop.
