We are in the Wyile Area, just North of Dallas. The Tornado sirens went off around 4am this morning and it sounded pretty bad for a few minutes. Fortunately it calmed back down real fast and as far as I know there was not a Tornado and everything seems to be ok at least in our area. I know others were not as fortunate, our prayers go out to them. I think they may be a little more sensitive about blowing the sirens around here, as last year we had one that hit our neighboorhood, less than hundred yards from us. I remember when that one hit, I dont remember the sirens going off. It was literally here and gone before we could even think about taking cover or had any kind of warning. It was just a little rain one second, then a shrill noise the next and it was gone, within seconds. I hope this weather will calm down for us all.
