I put a brand new 25 Tempest on my 2001 Pantera this weekend. Although it dont “Jump” out of the hole, boy did it make a difference on top end. 71-72 mph @ 5900 RPM. The hole shot is still as good or better than the LaserII 23P that was on it. I know the Merc 200 EFIs are not known as Torque Monsters. is anyone running a Tropy Plus on a EFI with good hole shots, Or shall I be happy where I am. Bye the way. I also tried a New 24 Tempest Plus, Hole shot seems to be exactly the same but top end is much better with 25. I felt like the 24 would give me a noticeable hole shot advantage over the 25 but to my suprise it didnt, I turned the 24 6150-6200 rpms on top end. I wont be happy untill I try the Trophy Plus now, anyone have a 24 or 25 Trophy Plus for sale???? Would like to have one for a back-up anyway. Showdawg

You have the propeller we would suggest you run on most rigs like yours with an EFI 200.

I have a like new 25P trophy plus that as I said in an earlier post behaves a bit more like a 24P. I was thinking of having it reworked to add 1″inch pitch, but would consider selling it if you are interested. Would let it go for $275 plus shipping. Chuck, I was turning the 23 Laser II about 6300 rpms, I could have lived with the holeshot, but I was simply turning more than i wanted to on top end. the 25 Tempest give me about 5 mph, lowered my rpms about 350-400 rpms Showdawg
