Is the acc switch powered by starting battery or trolling battery? I got the fish finder installed and got power from the acc switch up front. The fishfinders volt age display is reading 11.8 volts. my digital voltage meter reads 12 volts at the switch. All batteries reading 12.8 volt. I know Ill have voltage drop, but I was wondering which battery it was monitoring? I will go back and disconnect each one to figure it out. I know the master switch has to be on for the acc switch to work but there is a delay between turning the master switch on and the accs light coming on, which makes me think that there might be a relay involved. As I was installing I found that the courtesy light switch up front has nothing at all hooked to it. I looked and could not find any “extra” wires. My courtesy light up front does not work. Does anyone no the color code of the wires for the courtesy light or better yet tell me how to remove the courtesy light and Ill figure the rest out. I just do not want to break the light trying to get it out. The dash courtesy did not work either and I found a female blade connector unplugged from it. I plugged it in and it worked but would not turn off.
