I was supposed to get a second butt seat and pro pole from the dealer when I purchased my new rig (non current model). That did not happen but bcb was quick to get one ordered and was going to ship it to me directly. That was over three months ago. I have contacted cs and all have been great and I feel they are doing what they can. I understand vendor supply issues but I also know a call from the right person to the right person can go a long way to expedite a situation. I am sure a lot of new butt seats have gone out on new rigs in the last three months, I am confident had someone not dropped the ball they could have found time to work me in. Again, I know this is a vendor issue but anything you could do to help would be appreciated. I would be willing to contact them directly if need be. If that is the case please provide me some contact info.ThanksDarin

We dont know the issue, though we will see about it. There is a backlog on replacement and accessory seats from the vendor, and yes production does get priority. Though this seems out of line with the backlog. Our guess is there is a crack it fell into.

Certainly folks want things taken care of but if you need one I can send you a brand new one with silver stitching to use in the interim as long as you send it back when yours get there-WardC.O.D. Jr. III

Ward, based on this gesture and from what I have seen in my short time on here you are deep down a class act. Thank you for your offer, it shows something about you and the brand you are loyal to. I just fished an 12 hr tourney with no seat at all so it is not a matter of need but just following up on something I want and already paid for. I appricate the offer but it is not necessary. I am confident bcb will get this taken care of in no time. I believe them when they say it just fell through a crack. From the comments your “friends” make sounds like you dont need much but if you ever make your way to the bluegrass or need anything give me shout. We like to drive fast, “try” to catch fish, and drink a little beer up this way to, you should fit right in. ThanksDarin

Thanks for the kind words but I hardly rate. I just see how much BCB does to fix things for all of us around here so I figure I just outta do my part to keep hold of that rope. Particularly in this situation when I have TWO poles I have NEVER used for my 09 FTD that I know will match your boat. Plus- if I fished KY Lake I probably would need mine at times in those 3-4ers during derbies. Theyll get it done for you.C.O.D. Jr. III
