Hey guys, thought I would bore you with some pics from our recent trip for some smallmouth action up in Northeastern South Dakota. Took my two boys. Here are some of the highlights:Some old guy holding a fish…..getting kinda gray!!??!!Oldest boy trying to show Dad upAccidental Walleye 24″…caught on tube. My walleye buddies constantly tell me bass are not so bright since they like to eat rubber lures, I could not wait to send him this picture3 lb 10 oz decent fishRan into a school of whites, so kept a few for the cooler.Finally Dad got lucky on the last day with a 4lb 12oz……my personal best to date.

Beautiful fish. Congrats on your personal best. Thanks Jim…you would definitely enjoy a try at those brown critters…I am addicted for sure. I think I will be going back up in late Sept. to see how the Fall bite is. Let me know if you are bored and feel like coming up North.BCBs… as far as the crews looks I did not want to take my shirt off and show them up…I dont have 6 pack abs, I have a “keg” at 50 .Polaris…best of luck at Wheeler!!!!!!!

fish doc I will be going to south Dakota in sept- oct . yankton is not far from where we will be staying . any info on the Missouri river. thinking about taking my puma.

Mark,I am going up again on Sept 20 -24th. I dont know anything about the Missouri River. We are mostly up around the Waubay area. I would be happy to show you what I know about those lakes. I recently purchased a new Lakemaster chip, it works better than my Navionics. I like the shallow water highlights in red. It is possible that Lakemaster has the Missouri River on one of their chips.If you take your Puma you will get a lot of attention. Nobody has seen many Cats up in that area. It really gets their attention when you come down the lake showing some of that pad. Just be careful, dont need to donate your lower unit while you are up there. The water up there seems to have a lot of lime deposits, make sure you wax it well before taking it up there, and I try to wipe mine off when taking out each time.
