Hey folks, Have any of you been run a Fury prop on a 2006 225 Pro XS/Puma. I have the 25 Trophy now and was wondering if the Fury would give me any more? I need a spare anyway and was thinking of trying this out as the primary and keeping the Trophy as a back up. Thanks

Had my 2007 Cougar FTD with 225 pro xs 26p fury in the water on sunday for the second time. The 225 turns the 26 fury at 5700 rpms and ran it up to 73 with 400 lbs of meat (me and 15 year old cousin). I had a 26 trophy plus and with 2 people it would only run 69.8. The fury will also put the boat in the back of the truck on loading if you need to. I think the 73 will increase with adjustment on the jack plate. When running WOT I cannot throw a tail it looks like something you would ski behind. I am going to put it in the water again tomorrow and adjust the plate. I will post a reply and let you know if I get anymore out of it. The hole shot and acceleration are much better with the fury.

I ran a 26 Fury on my 06 225 Pro Xs Opti and found the hole shot and top speed where amazing compared to the 26 trophy I removed. The hole shot, mid range and top speed were all better. You could notice a huge difference in the Fury. I had no problem with hole shot fully loaded and full of fuel. When you hit the throttle at mid range you can feel it kick in hard. Very amazing prop
