OK guys, I have a 95 Pantera II with the trandem trailer. Im trying to figure out home to remove the tongue from the trailer so i can fit it in the garage. The physical removal of the tongue is as easy as unhooking the winch strap from the boat, taking the pin out, and sliding it off. BUT, my question is in reference to the brake line coupler that is attached directly below the winch. It doesnt appear to be a quick-connect, and I would assume disconnecting it would allow air in anyway. The coupler itself is metal and has rubber tubing that connects directly to the master cylinder on the far end of the tongue. The metal coupling is also inside a bracket that is welded to the trailer, and fits inside the bracket where it connects to the metal brake line that goes back towards the tires. I envision being able to remove the tongue everytime it goes in the garage, so at least once a weekend. Im hoping it doesnt require a major change to actually function as I intend. It cant be that complicated can it? What am I missing? All help is greatly appreciated!!!!
