I bought a XXL because that is what I have been wearing, but I lost 40 pounds (now 235lbs) and its a little big on me. I have the belts tightened pretty much as far as they will go and it is still loose. It will be good to wear on top of cold weather jackets and clothing. The collar needs to be rolled down or it is a slightly bothersome. That being said, Im sure it will be nice to have that fleece protecting your neck on those cool morning runs. I will be getting an XL soon and think it will be perfect. Other than that, I am extremely happy with it. I trust the Mustang name and I trust that BassCat believes it is a quality product or they wouldnt be selling it with their name on it. It doesnt feel as stiff and bulky as my other life preservers. I also have an inflatable Mustang that I have only worn while in the boat as a marshal last year at the Elite tournament. I will be proudly sporting one of these this year to show my loyalty.
