Hello,I am sure that someone will be able to answer this question. I want to know if you are running a 27 Fury on a 2013 Puma FTD. at 160 feet above sea level what the best prop would a person need at 2,155 feet above sea level. What pitch and what prop? Garry
Hi garyI live in idaho and all of the twenty footers here run either a 26 fury 0r 27 tempest but the fury seems to be most popular. elevation varies from 2000 to 2600 on or bodies of waterdarrell
Darrell,What motor are you running and what boat? I am contemplating moving to the Coeur d Alene area and just trying to figure out to prop a boat when I move there. I am currently living and working in Chile and will be moving back to the states in June. I want to purchase a 2013 Puma FTD and just wondering how to prop it.Garry
BCB,I had a Legend Bass 211 with a 250 proxs and I used a 25 Fury at that elevation and would hit 5600 to 5800 rpms. I figured the Puma FTD. would out perform the Legend and might be able to handle a 26 Fury at the elevation of 2,155. The water is cold and the engines perform a lot better.Garry
Gary, Im out of Missoula and fish Couer D Alene quite a bit, I run a 24 Fury on a PIV, but most of the 250HP guys are running a 25 or 26 Fury. CDA is a speed limit lake (55), I think youll be better off with the 25 pitch.
