There’s two situations when to change batteries, first when they die and that can be at the ramp which is the worst case scenario or you’re getting low readings and it’s time to change them out. To prevent changing at the ramps and being proactive I have a question on battery readings (voltage)I have 3 Sears Platinum group 31 that are 3 years old, I do not know how old they were before purchasing (shelf life)Voltage reading after one week of chargeTrolling Battery -12.43Trolling Battery -12.45Cranking Battery -12.26 Plug Charge in lights go green is several minutes, voltage readingsTrolling Battery -13.23Trolling Battery -13.28Cranking Battery -13.36 Voltage reading after one hour from unplugging the charge Trolling Battery -12.51Trolling Battery -12.48Cranking Battery -12.31 Voltage charts on line show the trolling batteries ~12.48V is about 75%-80% of charge so these may be good for another year. The cranking battery ~12.31V is about 60-65% of charge, would you change this one out now or wait another year. I run two power poles and basic set up on electronics. What’s your advice? Thanks Brian
