If he ever says “look at the action of this lure”, be sure to look because hes about to catch a fish hiding under the boat!! I still cant get him to come fish out of the kayaks though!! Lukes definitely one super nice fella!! Thanks Doug and also Sam for these great pics. I sure wish I could have been there. Ronnie
Ronnie, thanks for reminding me about that. I had forgotten about it—darned funny—We missed you-the red is your type of place—run wide open -baby-run
I kept wandering why those fillets were so small- now I know.BAYOU BANDIT
Luke you are a whole lot bigger feller than I thought
Put a picture of a tiny fish on here that most people wouldnt take time to post and everyone has to commment….. yet you post a serious question on here that would require some insight and you get nothing or very little. You know guys if your that impressed i gotta bait store down the road that sales fish like that by the dozen i could hook you up
Maybe if you filled out youre profile and someone knew w/w/w/w/w, youd get some serious attention. Till then,,,,,,,,learn the difference in sales and sells, your and youre.
Jigger, HMMMMM You should have been using them red core worms! That shows your finesse fishing ability Luke!Last edited by lad on October 29th, 2011, 2:12 am, edited 1 time in total.
I am going to assume from your post you are significantly unhappy about the level of response you got on this website regarding the chalking issue on your boat. If not you probably dont want to read what follows this-Are you too stupid to pick up the phone or are you too lazy? I take the time to read some threads about gel coat chalking and this that and the other to help you and your “serious” question and this is what you do? Dude I aint some prostaffer. Im just another dude like you who loves BCB and working on his some. We, the people you offend with this post here, owe you absolutely nothing. nothing.nothing.nothing.Did you read the thread I gave you? Did you call Garry or Bobby? Im gonna guess you didnt? Right…….Helluva plan there dude. Helluva plan. Here goes rocket scientist- your gelcoat has oxidized. Probably because it (not unlike its owner I imagine) is too stupid to be out of the rain and sun all of the time. This is caused by pits and pores that form in the gelcoat developed from the above said exposures. These pockets and pits oxidize and wax applied over such pits can enhance and only temporarily hide this process from trapping areas that are still pitted. Best I see it you need to have these pits filled in or if the chalking is mild the gelcoat pores can be buffed down to good gel to generate a good shine again. It appears there are products on the market designed to fill in these pockets and pits but as always it is best to ask the guys that put gel on BassCats for a living. I would get Garry or Bobbys opinions in this matter and I think they hold the best bet in “saleing” you a better attitude and a prettier gelcoat. Now if I need to hold you hand some more so you feel as though you are not being neglected-The number for basscat is 1-870-481-5135. Garrys personal shop is called Wright Way Boat repair 870-481-5049.Last edited by clownshoes on October 28th, 2011, 11:12 pm, edited 2 times in total.C.O.D. Jr. III
ha i appreciat your input ward i did go to the thread and read it i was helpful as a matter of fact it gave me the info i needed and i ordered some products last night to try i was hoping someon had tried some stuff and had some product reviews this boat is oxidized because somone before me didnt take care of it i am a working man it took me a long time to get the money put back to buy this boat i dont have the money to go out and buy a brand new one i got a good deal on it and i am trying to protect my investment as for w/w/w/w if i have to be a somebody to get responses on here i guess i wont worry with it anymore and i wasnt talking about just the post on oxidation i have posted on here before about other things and get few responses as well i have read several intresting post based on the topics thinking well thats something i would like to know about and there is very little input and as for my intelligance and spelling i never claimed to be a rocket scientist i am as you say just another guy who loves his boat and likes working on stuff also you shouldnt take post on here so personal you have clearly misinterpeted my tone i meant no offense just kind of ribbing you guys i bet rick would be proud of such a welcoming family and i am sure i mispelled something or made a mistake in here somewhere so dont waste your time critiqueing it i wont be offended by you pointing it out and you dont have to respond to this because you dont owe me anything and i have said my piece and again ward thanks for your input minus the insults
