All you guys that shave often heres a tip- I read an article about razor baldes and this guy says that when you get thru shaving, rinse thoroughly and dry thoroughly- get this, he uses a hair dryer to get it really dry- says that your beard does not dull the blades, but under a microscope you can see fine particles of rust on the blades that cause small pits and by thoroughly drying, a blade will last a long time. He states that he averages 6 mo. per blade shaving every day and they stay sharp. Guys like Dbasketman probably can go 2 yrs. Just a little benefit from the O F Gs!!BAYOU BANDIT

Ive heard that before too. Ive also heard that some people keep a jar of rubbing alcohol in the bathroom and dip the razor after shaving. The alcohol repels the water and keeps the blade from rusting. Ive not tried this, but some swear by it. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I read something like that only they recommended light oil like WD-40. I started using my Rem oil for guns and it seems to work but I still cant go two or three months like I heard claimed. 2 to 3 weeks maybe. LOVE MY CAT Ed It only got down to 0 here in KY last night! Some guys were fishing in the local lake yesterday but I couldnt bring myself to do it.
