Something has happened in the last month or so with the balance of my trailer. I am running a 2008 Cougar FTD on a dual axle BassCat trailer with swing away tongue. It now has several hundred pounds of tongue weight. I used to be able lift it my self (~150#), but now my grown son and I cant budge it. I would estimate it is near 400 pounds on the tongue now, even with two full tanks of gas in the boat. I took it to the local dealer and they said that was a new year for that trailer and there are no adjustments. The situation is is bad that I cannot crank the trailer jack all the way up to clear the ground even on a level concrete pad. Thus is because it pushes the rear end of my GMC Denali down so far the jack tops out before it clears the ground. I ran the boat for two years before this problem cropped up.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,[email protected]
