Bluewater Led?

who have Bluewater Leds installed in their boat? How well do you like them. Did you connect them into the existing compartment light wiring. Just checking to get a feel of how well this product performs. Thanks

They will require a resistor to activate the LEDs on a BCB panel.

Here are some pics of mine. I may have gone overboard.I love them in the rod boxes and compartments. I have a few too many on the deck – 30 light strips – I have been confused with a low flying UFO after dark. I wired them separately with mercury switches on each lid. I put 4, 3-light white ones in the battery compartment with a manual switch because I leave the door open while charging the batteries. I love mine. Right now the compartment lights that were factory installed work great so I only have the blue waters on deck,under consoles and also in glove box. I tapped into the Marty Stone bezel so I didnt need a resistor on mine.

what the heck is a resistor and do the lights come with one?? I like the idea of the deck lights and some under the consoles I have an open ACC. switch and would like to tap into it. It is the ACC switch on the round touch pad that has the securtity button on it.

Ive put Bluewater LEDs in my two front rod lockers. I just wired them into the existing rod locker light wiring, so they come on when I open the lids. I also have them on my trailer, amber in front of the fenders and red at the rear. Again, I just spliced into the existing wiring. I plan to install one strip of LEDs under my drivers console, just havent done it yet. If you order Bluewaters get the t connectors….they make splicing so much easier than anything I have every used. Ive not put any on the decks yet as I like the lights that installed from BCB. Bluewater is an awesome company. They offer customer service that is like the customer service you get from BassCat. Mike Daleo, the owner of Bluewater, is an awesome guy, very helpful with any questions you have about his lighting or installation of it.

I have 10 around my deck and under my consoles. I put them in all my compartments also. They are really bright and they work great!!!!!!basscat24
