Hey bassm1n,I dont think youll have any issues with fishing two on the front deck of the Eyra. No, there isnt the length that the Puma or Cougar has, but there is still plenty of room for feet and rods.As for props, BCB has the best advice – just run the boat for a while and get accustomed to how it handles. To keep the nose from hopping around when it gets rough, youll need to stay off the trim. Having tackle in the front will help. This hull rides the best in rough water with little to no trim AT ALL. Ive run mine in water that was way higher than my head in the Great Lakes and just plain, nasty rough on Toledo Bend with just barely enough trim to pull the nose up out of the water. Key here is to NOT over trim.I have run a whole truck load of props on last years Eyra and this years and have found that the Fury and a Bravo 1 work the best for me. The Fury seems to be the fastest overall on top end with a good holeshot and the Bravo 1 winning hands down in rough water for a smoother ride, yet plenty of speed. The Bravo 1 will actually allow you to run faster in rough water than the Fury, but its just a shade slower on top and it will burn more gas in the mid-range, which is where youll probably spend most of your time running.Hope this helps.
