I recently posted regarding problems I have had with trailer rust; one of many. The post did not appear, however I did receive a note that I couldnt decipher. I know the post was sent because I got a personal e mail from Rick addressing the issue. I have to assume that the administrator prevented it from posting. Not good for the web site if you desire only the good. I suppose Ill have to use the Bass Cat Owners Group on Facebook to be heard.
In the history of this board that is the fourth post (#4) of this nature we have removed. BCB
Please define “of this nature”
On a product complaint. We have eliminated several politically incorrect posts and off colored remarks for various reasons.
There was nothing in my post that was politically incorrect, off color, or untrue. If you think so I challenge you to post it an let the readers decide. The only thing that it did was bring to light some of the Bass Cat shortcomings in the area of quality control and compare my boats form, fit. and function to some others I have owned that were built by a competitor.
The post was permanently deleted and a simple jpg image was retained, along with others left in place regarding several products. The original post that comment was placed on still exists and we have left many others which involve product. Internal Emails and those emails sent to us in house, previous comments online (over 200), and more, were reviewed to make a decision on that post. Internal communications have been held and are ongoing, with relationship to those mentioned emails, after and prior to that post. The Owners Board prior to the Tapatalk format had a post counter and these forum pages received between 14,000 and 23,000 page views a day. Of those posts we try extremely hard to leave posts in place and often those are left which are questionable. Referencing a product on any brand from 6 boats back, or extending any company into the late 1980s or early 1990s, on a comparison is not comparable today for any other company. There are other factors which involve the decision and the post was not in the interest of the community, or in solving a problem. With any product there will be objection. With this we are dealing witha 2012 model year product, from our recollection. When we made a decision in the mid 1990s to become outwards verses those hiding on the internet, we knew these situations would lead to requiring complex handling. That decision we made to be involved and it is not one we regret. We at Bass Cat remain trying to service the customer in a manner we feel our expectations would be. We also have full understanding of issues and how we expect them to be managed in our own equipment and purchases. Maybe our patience is longer than some on those matters, though we have more flexibility ourselves as consumers than some here have shown. Especially concerning the situations around other aspects of those purchases and retail vs. other forms of ownership.BCB
It looks like my challenge wont be accepted for obvious reasons. Can anyone interpret this response? This guy needs to run for public office. What a bunch of gobble-d-gook. Look out face book here I come!It looks like it came from the infamous buzzword generator. Enough of this. I cant mentally spar with someone who is without weapons.
Some people will be unhappy even if they had a job as a pie taster.
