whats a good cranking reel???

I use the winch too. Its been a good reel. With the big handles I also use it for flipping matts.

The lews reels are great for the money! The regular speed spool casts a mile and the crankin version comes with a longer handle to power! Best cranking reel for the money!

Flyswatter and myself have pretty much used the winch exclusively for the last few years. Its a great reel but a little pricey. Here a couple months ago Fly purchased the Lews crankin reel to give it shot. The first few times out he wasnt too impressed with it. Said it was ok but probably wouldnt buy another one. The last two times out hes been ranting and raving how much he likes it and that he wont spend the money for the winch again. Says the same as 1rudebee. Best reel out there for the money and he will buy more.
