250 Pro XS Fuel Prob

I ran out of fuel the other day loading the boat, motor died before I could switch tanks tried quickly to pump the ball and could never get the motor to start again, was in a hurry didnt mess with it long. Now I have time anybody have any idea what I need to do to reprime or get it started? Motor is a 08 250 Pro XS. Thanks in advance..

Switch tanks, reprime bulb and go…….you should be allright, but i had one engine that would foul plugs if you ran it outta gas. D.

Did the bulb firm up, you must hold the ball firm and get fuel pressurized into the VST on the engine. BCB

As BCB says……………….pump that bulb until its TIGHT!

Naw ball never got firm, but like I said didnt pump it long was in a hurry, will try again tomorrow. Just wanted to make sure I didnt need to do something on the acutal motor. Thanks for the info…

Sometimes you can to hold the hose down below the tank level to get more fuel flow, this would generally mean releasing the cable strap. Which means you should tie it back up. BCB
