I blew out my winch!

Tonight at the landing my winch lost all cranking power for some odd reason! It slips really bad and will not hold tention. This is my 3 Fulton winch and have never had a problem like this ever before! I purchased the boat in July so wear and tear should not be a problem. BassCat, do I go through you or Fulton to warranty the winch? If there is one?

We will be happy to service the “Winch” issue. We have not had an issue with Fulton winches though. Make sure you are mounting it on a slight cant to the side, so that the strap catches the rounded part of the spool and not the sharp side. The holes are drilled out of square on purpose. BCB

Can I take the winch off an mail it in? I have my BBC Rally this weekend and am in a small pinch!

Just call them and they may be able to do a Warranty sheet for the return part for you and ship one out ASAP. Ask for Bobby Lee or Scott and explain the situation. BCB
