How is the weather up in your area, I am heading for Eagle River, and want to know how much cold weather gear I will need. Going after “Those Toothy Critters” called Musky

I am heading to Eagle River on Wednesday – Sunday. Staying on a small lake named Bass Lake first then going to try another lake called Snipe for Muskies. Weather should be good until Saturday when rains comes in which should make the muskies active. Bucktails on weed edges have been working well, soon the wood baits will turn on. Sam

Thanks Sam, Im going to Lac Vieux Desert, Wednesday to Sunday, We were up in Hayward one year at this time and woke up to a couple inches of snow in the boats!! I havent been up there in about 5 years though.

Eagle River be in Vilas County. Some cool info about Vilas, it has more lakes in it than any other county in any state in the USA… As for being full of drunks….. well, would have to guess, 99% of those would be cub fans !Last edited by brewcat on September 21st, 2009, 6:33 pm, edited 1 time in total.
