I always fish out of Mississippi so I dont know much about Florence. It took 30lbs to win the BFL last weekend there and 12.9 for big fish. Took 22lbs on coangler side. The best fishing has been around Bear Creek area.P.S. I assume you are referring to the Country Squire in Iuka? I have heard good things about that place but Iuka is 35 miles from Waterloo where we are putting in and even further from Florence.Last edited by Tbretthauer on March 14th, 2012, 11:17 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yeah thats it. Just a little dig on Chris. I also saw a post on the lounge on BBC about this? The mid south rally starts tomorrow in Florence at McFarland. You might want to go to the BBC mid south rally board and check it out. Think it gonna be some good eats there.

There are lots of great places to eat in the Florence area. My favorite is Ricotonis which is downtown Florence very close to McFarland Park. It is an italian place. Also Rosies Cantina downtown is one of the best Mexican places ever. Of course for a little more pricey steak place you cant beat Dales Steak House which is right next to the bridge. Georges Steak Pit in Tuscumbia is another one worth checking out. Also there are all the chains like Outback, Texas Roadhouse, and on and on. I hope this helps.
