Lacrosse info

Right now the grass isnt anywhere near as grown up as it will be in late june… but its gaining every day. A lot of fish are spawning right now, which also will make the fishing quite a bit different now too. I havent been down there in a couple weeks, but I do keep an eye on tournament results and recaps. If youre going anywhere near Lake Mille Lacs, thats the place to be this time of year. Pre-spawn and bedding smallmouth that are world class.

Was out last night for a bit with my 9 year old. Still kinda slow, we ended up getting 5 keeper sized smallmouth, and I lost a nice 4+ right at the boat on the jump. Didnt do alot of searching as the 9 year old likes fishing slow, but its pretty tough here right now. Had a 146 boat BFL here last weekend so the pressure on the water has been high.There are plenty of weeds to get some frogging going, there are bass in all stages of the spawn, but the bite is on and off from what Ive heard. I havent got out alot, and been chasing the brown fish most of the time I have been out.
