I have for sale my 2001 Cougar single console, Im asking $16,000 for it. Boat is like new, I had Wrightway Boat Repair refurb the boat 3 years ago. Ill try to list the features below…Trailer:All new tires in 2010Both new fenders with LED tail lights in 2010Outer wheel bearings replaced in 2012 with new wheel seals (all were cleaned and repacked, but the outer bearings looked discolored so I replaced them)Brake pads were in good shape when I did the wheel bearingsIn 2010 I had Gary at Wrightway boat repair in Mtn Home, AR fix all the scratches and buff the boat out. He also replaced:New fenders on trailerNew tiresNew LED tail lightsNew CarpetNew Seats (all)New Aurora boat coverInstalled HDS 7 depth finder on consoleNew latches on all storage boxesNew fuel sending units in fuel tanksHambys keel protectorAll new batteries (I have since replaced one)New windshieldSwim ladder26 degree Fury III SS PropAll new plumbing and pumps in bilge area(Im sure I forgot something)Boat has manual jack plate and NOT the hydraulic jack plate.Boat has tilt and hydraulic steering. In 2012(?) I had the lower unit replaced with the high performance one that has a 1 1/4 output shaft instead of the standard 1″ shaft. At the same time I replaced the trolling motor as well. This has been an excellent boat and I have been very happy with it, but I wont have time to use it for atleast another year. I do not check this site often, so if anyone is interested you can call me on my cell phone at 573-578-9288. If no answer, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you in advance. Forgot to mention boat will run 72 MPH on the GPS will 52 gallons of fuel, all my junk in it with my fat hind end and a fairly large passenger. There is a hole inside the passenger seat where a ?&*%$#@ mouse helped himself to the seat, but its not visible when the seat bottom is folded down (there is storage under driver and passenger seats). You may notice Ive put mouse motels all over the boat to keep this from happening in the future. Also, the left rear corner got scratched (from a cable that holds a boat slip in place) when my wife and I were crappie fishing). I have the hull warranty sticker that goes over the scratch but I thought I would have the scratch buffed out before I installed the sticker. I lowered the price from 18,000 to 17,000 and probably wont go any lower since this is an exceptionally clean boat. As far as the hours, Im going to check with the local Merc dealer and see if they can retrieve it. If I find out, Ill post the hours here.
