This topic may have been covered, but I cant find it! I have Humminbird 798 SI combo in my dash and a 788 on the front. Both have the latest updates from Humminbird. My question is what seems to be a good nominal sensitvity setting for these units to get enough, but not too much info. I feel most of the time, I have the settings too high, because Im not getting thesame images Ive seen in pictures and others units I have observed. I know I can just continue by trial & error, but I know most of you have a lot more experience with them than I do. Any word of advice or help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advanceCC
Is that something Ill find in the menu? I dont remember seeing that. Ill be trying to get out next week, if I can find a launchable ramp on Norfork and see if its there.ThanksCC
I dont have a switchfire mode,that is just the name of the technology,,,,use the advanced mode and adjust to fit the scenario.If you want to find bait kick it up high,you can use your filter setting to eliminate noise and clutter.
