1998 Sabre with a 150 Merc EFIHow much water should be coming out of the hole (pisser) on the back of the motor at idle? I hooked the water muffs up today and at idle water was shooting out about 1-2 ft. When I reved it up just a little it did increase. The reason I ask is the last boat I had, had a Evinrude 70 that shot water 5 feet at idle. The guy I bought the boat from said he just had the water pump replaced last fall as preventative maintenance. Ran the boat about 2 hours before buying without any issues. Am I being paranoid ? Second questionOil pressure gauge on the dash. Is it measuring the 2-stroke oil injection or something else? I took the cowling off the motor and there looks to be a oil reservoir.
