NC has my Tigers number. What up with pulling a 100mph fastball down the line last night for a HR? Yep, hes in the zone. However, gotta pull for my MotorCity Kittys. If the Rangers do beat my Tigers Ill be pulling for them all the way. Any team that has Nolan Ryan running the organization is a class bunch. To me Nolan Ryan is the greatest pitcher Ive ever seen. Man, if he would have been with team like the Yankees no telling what the record book would have looked like. Comeon, at 45 and hitting 95 plus as a starter, seven no hitters, I think 9 one hitters and 5800 strike outs? Yep, hes one of a kind.
I went to bed at 11 last night. Are the Rangers still scoring?

They were obviously the better team. Classy bunch too. Their starting pitching is not the greatest, bullpen is dynamite, solid defense and their offense is freaky scary even when Verlander pitches. Against most other teams when he throws his 100mph FB after pitch 130 its lights out but what I just witnessed in the ALCS made me a believer how deep and good the Texas Rangers are. Good luck to you all. Im pulling for the Rangers in the WS. As for my Tigers, great season, we beat the damn Yankees and our future looks great. Thank goodness for MLB ticket because every year I get to watch my Tigers every night in Birmingham, AL. Fishing and baseball….. it doesnt get better.Last edited by Flyswatter on October 16th, 2011, 5:22 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Were proud of our “Little Rangers”, but Detroit scared us badly. Yankees and Red Socks, not so much.Jim Leyland is a class act, and if half the Tigers werent so banged up, it may have been a different outcome. If the Rangers and Mavs hold the championships at the same time, Cowboys tickets may get really cheap. We love a winner, but championships have been lean for a while here in North Texas.

FLY IF HE HAD BEEN A YANKEE,HE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE BEEN ON THE DISABLE LIST….HE WAS AWESOME AND I ONLYREMEMBER ONE PERSON CHARGING THE MOUND AND HE GOT HIS BUTT WHIPPED….KIND OF LIKE DON ZIMMER CHARGING PEDRO MARTINEZ…
Tideman,Yea, I think he took down White Sox new skipper Robin Ventura if I remember correctly at the end of his career.
Looks like the TX Rangers and the Cards are evenly matched based on the last 2 games. My bet is on the Rangers. It looks like baseball will stay in the South.
