Had a great time at local lake in San Antonio this afternoon. The day was going great until some lousy jerk decided to hit the rear of my boat trailer while it was parked. This person didnt have the balls to leave a note on my vehicle. Its a shame some people dont even have the common courtesy to be responsible for damages done to other peoples property. They just find it easy to hit and run! A police report was made with the Sheriffs department. All I can do now is deal with my insurance and get my Kitty Cat trailer back on the road. Can I order a new fender? Is this a to it yourself or would I need to take to Central Marine in Waco, Tx? Whats the cost? Joe BarreraYour Signature …

Fenders arent very expensive and you can save on shipping by having it sent to your dealer w/a boat delivery. Otherwise shipping costs are high. It looks like you can replace the marker lights and brake light and be just fine. Youll have a scratched up fender, but it will be workable. The important think is that you have workable lights. I have a fender on order and waiting for it to be delivered w/ a boat delivery to my local dealer. Im not in a hurry to get it so whether it arrives next week, next month, or next year it will be fine w/ me.

Joe, sorry to see this posted on here. I think you should have made the trip to Amisted with Diane and I and that may not of happened. Hope you get it fixed soon, and am sure it will look like new. How was fishing..? Give me a call Mon. pant 2 Bob

I had a similar situation happen to me at the ramp a couple of years ago. Fortunately, the lady who clipped / crushed my fender left her business card on my windshield. My dealer ordered a new fender and she sent him a check for the replacement costs (at the time approx $425, IIRC) Compare the cost of replacement against the repair job. Hey, at least you can replace a BC fender. Those metal trailer fenders other mfrs use are tougher to repair/replace, heavier, and get to rusting after a few years! In the meantime, get those lights back to working, a priority for sure!
