We are heading out early tomorrow morning for the OI. It looks like we will be ok through AZ,NM and TX. My question is how is the road (412/62) from Tulsa to Moutain Home?Jason Desertdweller.com Get Your Bass in the Boat!

No Problems there dweller, just dont get in a hurry, yuo dont want a safe driving award. North Arkansas is known for enforcement, so take it to the limit and quit! The local roads have a couple of wash outs, and a pot hole occasionally, though not a problem. BCB

Sounds good. Thanks for the update. We should be in town and ready to go Sunday Morning. Can smell the BBQ already. One more question. When can we swing by the factory and check in to get our numbers and such? dont forget your cash for the good ole turnpikes as you cross our fine state of Oklahoma I beleive the cherokee turnpike will get you for $5 something with a single axle trailer and a bit more for a double. not sure what the one from okc to tulsa will set you back. I believe registration at the factory is Tuesday and at ramada on WednesdayTreat everyday like it might be the last

Yeah, the toll roads. Ran into those last year. I asked the guy at the booth if I pop up the front axle on the trailer does it still count as a double axle if the tires are not touching the ground. Hey guys, you have a safe trip up to Mt. Home, hope all goes well and we will see you Tues. night. Judd and I will be there, but prob. late. Mich. and Illinois do not charge you for the second axle if its not on the ground. Lots of large trucks use axles that go up and down and they control it. Check with the state of Ok. highway dept. Guy in booth has never seen a boat trailer with all the fancy stuff like you have. pant 2 Bob
