Roller wheel rubbing off gel coat

That doesnt look right. The keel line just above the bow eye on my Sabre is much sharper than that. That looks like its further down on the bow. Wheres the bow eye? Where you hook the trailer winch strap?

What happened to the bow eye? My Sabre had the little notch by the eye but it was an older model. I agree, that doesn’t look like the Sabre I had in that area, was much sharper. Something not right for sure about that photo.

Have you missed the roller trying to load at any time? Or had the trailer too deep when loading? Assuming you load with the bow eye up against the roller and then tighten it down really tight?

Once it gets chipped, especially in that location, its only going to get worse. It just looks like something chipped it. The roller itself would not cause that…it might dull the gelcoat finish, but not cause a chip or crack, at least not in my experience. Have you contacted your dealer?
