I’m looking for some creative ideas on how to add another Thru-Hull water outlet for a Pro Air style pump out on my Pantera 2. If you look at the picture I’m not sure if I can move the two existing Thru-Hull outlets out to the edge of the raised section of the cap and add a third in the middle or of I’m going to have to put it somewhere else. I really want to put it in the factory location if at all possible but I’m afraid the existing holes from the Thru-Hull water outlets will be visible if I move them out enough to get a third outlet in between them. Has anyone already tried this? If so is there space or has anyone fabricated a plate that covers the holes and looks nice so you can get the third outlet installed? Do you know of a different type of Thru-Hull water outlet that might work better in this situation? I’ve been toying with it but thought I would see what everyone else has done before I start taking apart my boat.Thanks,Mike

Not sure about this idea but…what about a y-connector in a hose inside the boat to use one of the present thru-hulls for dual purpose?Might need an anti-siphon valve but what the heck.

How about a simpler approach and spread those apart, placing them on a plate assembly and replace all three thru hull fittings with the new chrome cap models and do some upgrading while your there. The plate would cover these holes and silicone it in place, with the fittings in the plate.

The plate is what I have been thinking about but not sure where to get it. I thought about using a plate like what Bass Cat is on the New Courtesy Light with Panel replacement light. Is that something Bass Cat would have? Have you gone to the chrome cap models on the new boats?Thanks,Mike

Those are custom parts. Contact MEP in Lebanon, MO and see about a scrap piece of panel blank by the square foot in a pattern you desire. Then you can custom cut the panel blank to fit whatever you need. The engine turn pattern we use is a clear coated custom process on aluminum plate parts that are CNC cut.
