Will a Sears Platnum 31M battery fit in the factory black tray on a 14 Puma FTD? Its gonna b super close. Hard to messure the tray with the other battery in place. Sears battery is 13″ long and 6.8 wide. Thanks

My boat has the aluminum trays. With the spacers removed I have a 31 starting and two 29s for the trolling motor. The 29s are virtually the same size as the 31. You should be fine.

After church today I went and bought a Sears Platnum 31M for a cranking battery. It did fit in the tray like it was made for it. Thanks for the replies!

I recently replaced my starter battery with a Diehard PM-31. Youre gonna like it.

Thanks, I hope so. I had a 31 Optima Yellow top in it. It only had 900 CCA and 155 RC. It was doing fine but it always sounded like it was straining to start the 250 Pro XS so I didnt want to take any more chances. A friend of mine bought the Optima for his 150 so he will probably be pleased with it.
