Hells frozen over and Im upgrading my electonics. Those who know me would understand the humor in that statement. Side image, down image, 360? – still black & white. My eyes went out before my 766 died and Im adding a 788c to the console so I can see the maps while Im running. My 766 is going to the bow. Im adding a gps puck to the front of the boat. I want it by the troller – so I wont just be adding a Y cable to connect to the rear puck. Theres a teardrop shaped place on the bow, which looks like a natural spot – but whenever a co-angler gets in the boat – thats where they always step. Some add to the outside of their troller on the gunwale – but its pretty narrow on the Sabre, and very little flat space. On the inside of the troller – between the troller mount and the bow light receptacle is a place, it think, thats wide enough – but would the troller block some of the gps signal? Those of you who have added a front puck to your Sabres – where did you mount yours?
